What Was I Thinking?

Notice anything strange about this embroidered piece? I didn’t when I handed it to Jim to frame that I hadn’t finished it . . . .   It hung on the wall for Christmas and I still didn’t notice it.  I think I may have had it a show likes this . . . 

Then I moved it looking for something else, caught it out of the corner of my eye and thought, that doesn’t look right.  Yup, I never stitched the pine needles on the branch!  What the heck was I thinking?

I guess it looked ok to Jim too since he framed it!

So this is today’s project, finish the branch and hand it back to Jim to reframe.  

I should look at other pieces and make sure they’re finished
