  • This hand dyed #8 wool thread is a medium, dark blue, a bit darker than the picture, almost a navy but not quite - think George Washington's coat in the Revolutionary War..  
  • Soft and wonderful to work with this thread is made of 100% Australian Merino Virgin Wool of the highest quality.  I love it for wool applique but you can also use it for fine lace, crewel and crochet. 
  • Size 8, 10 yards. 
  • Hand dyed in small batches, each skein is unique.
