We Found A House But The Store Is Still On Hold For A Bit Longer . . . Life just has a way of keeping you on your toes! We finally did find a house in December - a fixer upper house that we're still fixing up and I'm just starting to get all my wool and sewing stuff out of my children's basements where it has been stashed since last Oct (they're very happy they're getting some of their living space back!) That said, all my "stuff" is still in totes and bins and if you asked me to find something, it might be here, it might still be in a basement or it might be in storage . . . . SO, the shop will remain on pause till June (fingers crossed!) We're good, enjoying all the kids and grandkids within a 12 mile radius, the house has a great room over the garage for my sewing studio, a big shed for Jim, a big yard for a garden that will have to have an 8' fence to keep out all the resident wildlife and room for the grandkids to come over and roam. We're settling in, just not as fast as we would like! Now that we're not knocking down walls, ripping up floors, painting, etc, I'll try to keep you more updated on our reopening date! Jan 1st has come and gone and the website is still not live. Jim and I thought we’d be settled by now 😞. We moved to be closer to the kids and grandkids and not only is the house not ready to be lived in but the paperwork to do business in PA has not come through yet. The website can’t go live again until that comes through so we’re hoping (fingers crossed) to be open Feb 1st. I’ll let you know how it goes.
