Our linen is hand dyed Essex Linen and is not an even weave linen for counted cross stitch work. 

All our hand dyed cotton and linens have a wonderful mottled look giving you depth for your backgrounds or applique pieces.  Some are subtle and others are heavily mottled for different looks.
